Village "Street"

Yesterday I got my 2nd annual opportunity to try to shoot some "village street" - this was the 2017 Killin {agricultural) Show when all the country folk get together for a big bash.

1. No-one gets too far from a tent . . . rain . . .
2. Double trouble
3. Prize sheep.
4. and 5. Everyone brings their pooch
6. Donald made a surprise visit . . . didn't say much . . .
7. Prisoner No. 0542421
8. Laughing lady
9. That restroom's gotta be round here somewhere . . .
10. Watching a sheep being sheared by a novice . . .

I think that Agricultural and Pastoral shows are the same the world over.

Love the series    ...."Prize Sheep" reminds me of the late, great, Jane Bown's cow's eye.

But Dave I can't spot the "Street"   :)

Thanks, Bez. But I have to interpret "street" pretty liberally, especially as we don't have a proper one.  :-\  So anything with people who don't know they are being photographed gets called "street" round here.   8)

As you know just a joke Dave   .....I understood your title, and see the connection. These images made me miss Killin, and your incredibly warm hospitality more than your landscapes. For want of a better expression they touched me.

Bez - that week was one of the best things I've ever done, and what has been particularly gratifying is that quite a number of the members who were here have expressed feelings similar to yours, some of them more than once.

Don't come up to Scotland without coming to see us. You are welcome here.
