Fons, I like your surrender. Surrealism Gothic? It has impact and mistery

"Do puddles dream of rain?"

Wonderful image accompanied by a fitting story.

Nice one, Paco. A dark, rainy day?

Thank you both.
I´m a fan of sci-fi so the reference to the quote.
It was a sunny then dark, then rainy and then rainbow-y  day all in less than two hours. Fun hike!

Nice one, Brute. Reminds me to Steptoe Canion and Snake River (the volcanic levels), so I had to look it up, and it is the same region. The valley of the Snake River there looks very similar to the Rhine valley, where the Rhine crosses the volcanic area. Only the vineyards  are missing ;) A wonderful country!

Water playful depths.

Reminds me of light reelecting off of asphalt, viewed through concertina wire. Depressing. YMMV

Carl, an honest emotional reaction is a treat, even if not pleasant.

Thanks a lot for your input

OTOH, I think the red Stranger Water shot would look great printed large and hung on one of my walls.  ;)
