Dormant no more

After a long period of inactivity here, I have just now paid my subscription.

I hope to contribute constructively and to enjoy the contributions from the many talented members here.

My main camera is not Nikon - and does not even have a mirror - but I hope that will be forgiven.

As long as the user is pleased with the outcome, any camera will serve its purpose.

Nikon users got the blame for tiresome brand wars on the old site  ....but I came here to get away from them (the wars).

PS it is your eye that makes the picture and the handling of light and equipment. Everyone shall use the equipment that helps him/her get the results they want
