Really?  You seem to have overcome the focus shift issue. :)

I've used the Noct only on films but realized the color rendition was excellent, which is well proved here.

On such subjects, the focus shift is less relevant. Wait until I survive a portrait session with the-nearest-eye-in-focus.

Otherwise yes, contrast and color are quite "punchy". I played no tricks in LR and have used the same standard profile as usual, not the Adobe default profile (that overemphasizes the reds) but a third-party one.
