Very slow to load ... it's about the AIS 50-135/3.5
Older articles are also there as far as I can tell, but in Japanese :o

Google Chrome can translate it into Engrish  :o :o :o

There is hope that the EN site will be available again!

So, it is online again?  Thanks for the reminder, Rick!  Hope the English versions are on its way (back).

For once, the Google translation was almost intelligible .... I think it covered most of the content quite well without too many artefacts.

I join the others in hope that the English version of the 1001 Tales be available in the near future.

Well, it was readable if you get my meaning.

Incidentally, my own observations on the 50-135 were by and large confirmed. Must retrieve the lens from its storage and use it for a while. It's been a while since last time.

It is a good summary. I was using this lens earlier in the week. It is a bit heavy compared to shorter primes, but does reach to 135. Handles pretty well, but the zoom has a tendency to drop when pointed downward.

Here is an example at f/8 on a Df:
DFJ_5388
It is pretty sharp at f/8.

Ha good news the site seems to be returning in the Japanese context at least  ;)

The article was even somewhat readable in English.

There is  a special topic about the 50-135/3.5   http://nikongear.net/revival/index.php/topic,1391.0.html

Thanks Rick for the alert.

I just bought one in my April trip to Tokyo.  I've been looking for this lens for a while, 7 years to be precise.  One hefty lens at 700 g, non-rotating filter ring (nice). Zoom is slacking... On Nikon Df.
