That old chestnut again . . .

I do photograph this scene several times each year but it is always different and never ceases to interest me.

What a lovely diversity of earth colours and lush greens ... must be wonderful to follow up the seasonal changes.

Thanks, Bjørn - this year I do mean to follow this scene, quite systematically, thro' the seasons.

Set up an appointment for the scene at predetermined intervals. Say once or twice a month, return to the exact same vantage point and shoot with the same camera and lens each time.

Sort of "extended" time lapse photography.  ;)

Bjørn - yes, pretty much like that, but in my case the subject is an entire hillside of trees, and incl. quite a few different species. So all that variety and extra information will work to my advantage, possibly.   ;D

Lovely and well-captured scene of natural clutter.

I have nothing to add to the comment.  Simply gorgeous!  Thanks for sharing, Dave!

Thanks for the kind comments, Keith, Akira and Elsa. I was down there again this morning - it is a lovely spot - makes the job of a photographer much easier.
