Chania night life. Coming from a Nordic light regime, this is dark as the proverbial coal cellar by comparison. Still, the Df can get some of the ambience.

I like the mood and light of 'Taste the feeling'

I am packing my skies and you are only packing speedos :) Life is unfair. Developed country unfair, which is not unfair at all ;)

While Elias did boats, I did the ubiquitous Crown Chrysanthemum Glebionis coronaria. They come in various shapes and colours and grow everywhere on fallow fields and road verges.

I availed myself of the "Erik special" extension ring and put my 50/1.8 long-nose Nikkor to get some close ups of the Glebionis.

While Elias and Bjørn concentrated on details I tried to do panoramas of the harbour of Chania.
This one is made of 15 pictures taken with my 105 f2.5 AIS in order to minimise the amount of water and sky, as the the distance across the harbour is long.

Bjørn did inspire me to focus a little more on flowers, the Nikon V1 and the 10-30 do well close-up.
Bjørn knows the flowers name ;)

I trust you enjoy it.  The level of Ouzo must be quite high, as a lot of pictures are blurry, misframed, or underexposed, or of no much interest, may be except for the incrowd. The weather doesn't seem tip top neither.

Don't leave your house for too long ;)
Chania is full of abandoned houses.

Superb weather, neither too warm nor too cold. Any rain so far has been during breakfast time  :D

Glebionis coronaria

This could have been posted in the "Windows" tread, but as we are in Crete it goes here.
There are many houses that must be a bargain for a builder, this is no exception :o

The Ice plant is fascinating, this is my go at it with my 55mm f3.5 and the D800.
On this NG gathering plants and close-up has been the focus ;)
