Nikon F Mount to Sony, 1980s Style.
« on: March 18, 2017, 01:55:44 »
Here's an adaptor you don't see too often these days.
From the late 80s; used for fitting F mount lenses to Sony's MVC-5000 & 7000 stills-video cameras.
An amazing little piece of hardware; it has a fine focus adjustment as well as servo controlled aperture adjustment.

It's a Sony :o :o :o

sometimes, I wonder why they didn't get into the camera market back in the day when they made almost anything as far as consumer goods are concerned. then I thought about their terrible service (even here in Japan) and I was thankful ::)

I wonder how much that costs back in the day...the JVC cameras that we had already cost a fortune.

True to the Sony spirit, the ergonomics is unorthodox.
