Lens "porn" with the Df: 50 mm f/1.2 Nikkor AIS

An absolute favourite, well adapted to the Nordic darkness against which we Nordic photographers have to fight half the year, is the 50 mm f/1.2 Nikkor AIS. Less temperamental than the 35 mm f/1.4 AI/AIS, it can safely be used even wide open. Getting it CPU-modified required the ingenuity only 'Dr. Lens' aka NG member Erik Lund can muster.

Again, I'm using a non-standard hood for it. Here an ancient HN-7 with the older lettering typeface is pressed into service. This hood was intended for the old 85 mm f/1.8 Nikkor-H, but will fit the 50/1.2 perfectly without vignetting. For such fast lenses it is paramount to use the longest possible hood  to enhance image contrast.
