I'm enjoying this Viet Nam series even more than Ron's usual stuff.  8)

Nice Viet Nam version of Ron Scubadiver style series!

I did a little research before leaving for Asia and concluded this would be very different from Europe.  Actually, my style has been evolving.

Great portraits of Vietnam Ron. Looks like you only met friendly people there !  That joy is refreshing.   I like especially the last one.

The Vietnamese are not camera shy.  They are nearly the opposite of the French.

Remember, everything in this series was shot with my garden variety 50mm f/1.4G.  My guide was an accomplished photographer.  He showed off some of his work on an iPad.  He was surprised that I was not using a zoom.  Additionally, he had the best English of any of the guides and he was fluent in Dutch, although I did not test that.

Thank you Lars.  For those of us who started a long time ago, the 50 f/1.4 or 1.8 was our first lens.
