In the Public library volunteers are working on a 1:1000 scale model of the center of Tilburg in 1955.   They work together with the City Archive, Library and some other institutions. A part of the workspace is a special workshop were the tiny buildings are made.  School-children can learn how to make tiny scale house models.

I loved using Ais 28/2.8 as an all-round standard lens on my D40 and D7000.  On a DX camera, the lens is nearly distortion-free.  I miss it and would love to try it on D500.  Your image is intriguing and worth enlarging.  Did you use the lens on a DX camera (Fuji S5)?
Yes great performer. Comes close to the 17-35/2.8 (but the last one is better on distant images)

High water level, Fons?

It was indeed a grey, foggy day with some drizzle.

Some colour in the garden-department of the supermarket

Nice Cyclamen, John, water in the Maas is fairly high, what one sees is a construction in memory of a fortification from the 80 years war.

Fanatic sporters, Fons !  ;)

It has been, again, a grey day with a lot of rain.

A new Tattoo-shop in Town.  Somehow the name 'Rowena' frightens me a lot....

Very pleasing colours !

Butchery Lejeune, since 1906 in this shop in Tilburg, and already the fourth generation working there. Old Lejeune opened the first butchery in 1876.  They have their own specialities, famous for the home made liver sausage....   ( http://www.slagerijlejeune.nl/vier-generaties )

Winter reappears - briefly? Outlook from my girl friend's apartment, by the way.

So I noticed ... that's the danger inherent in shooting snow scenery - everything shows up !!
