Akira dearest - every woman knows how to hold a telephone :)

please help - since I will be using the sax again - what do I do?

Good for the telephones!

To get familiar with the way the saxophone is held or handled, you may want to look at the pictures or videos of real saxophone players.  As for the female saxophone player, one of the most famous would be Candy Dulfer.

Even when they are just carrying, not necessarily playing, the instruments, there are certain common ways to hold them.

In your image #4, the saxophone is held almost in a playing position.  What is awkward in this case is that none of her fingers are put on the correct keys.  You should see round concave thingies on some keys, and that's where the fingers should be placed.  Also, a saxophone is supposed to come with a protective cap for the mouthpiece.  It would be better to take it off basically in any situation settings.  In your image, I don't clearly see whether the cover is removed or not.

The image with the telephone is so lovely that I keep coming back.  (ABSOLUTELY NO PUN INTENDED!)
