Mongo, those images are super, both. Love the first one and the second I think illustrates a perfect "objet trouve" but Akira will have to confirm as it is elusive for me.

Winter here and still stark light in Santa Monica. Love it. Brings back memories.
Frank, it actually was shot in July...but it is bright and sunny today in October.
I often envy the Europeans with their wide range of daylight qualities, except maybe the long days of mostly cloudy winter.  Sunlight diffused by clouds is relatively rare and usually lasts a short time here. When it occurs, I'll run outside with a camera and look for something to photograph.
