Taken with D3 and 135mm f2,8 Nikkor-Q.C, even though EXIF says f3,5

Buddy, capturing the dog like that with a 135 mm manual focus focus lens is true skill.
Not to mention the composition. Truly wonderful!

Yes, indeed. Super shot Buddy. I know that 135/2.8 QC is hard to focus. You managed to get it spot on, in action.

A couple of Hares at dusk in the next-door field of snowy grasslands.

Great capture, Buddy!

Fantastic lighting, Børge!

Jan, love the fairly-tale-like image of two MF Nikkors!

Another Monochrom winter shot. Massive chunks of ice from this morning.

Thanks all, those words are too kind. I could post pictures like these all day long I'm afraid, but without snow because that was all gone within 3 hours time. I never really found the 135mm f2,8 Nikkor-Q.C that hard to focus. It gives better visual feedback as to when a subject is in focus then the 80-200 f4 Ai-S which, however, I also truly love for such photos.

Here is 6 days earlier, with the 80-200 f4 Ai-S

With winter out of the way, we are now sitting out a storm, hoping the trees in our backyard remain upright. If one of them decides to take a nap, it will crash on the house.

Three days ago, the temperature was 72 degrees Fahrenheit and Snowdrops began blooming in our yard. Earliest I can remember seeing them in flower.
