It is very fast, simple and not expensive.

Neofinder is Mac only, but their website recommends AbeMeda for Windows.  http://www.cdwinder.de   I have not used AbeMeda.

Thanks for the great Tip, Anthony!!  Abemeda works very quickly, exactly the programme I have been looking for...    It shows my directory path and also takes all the file-names into account, which is extra additional info to the EXIF.

Although Abemeda looks promising,,,

BTW Flickr has a feature on their site called: Camera Roll - Magic View

It does a sort/guess on your images and enters them into categories,,, quite useful for image related look and feel sorting
