I am overwhelmed again with colors and landscape impressions.

Thank you, Frank. I think I understand your thougths.
This one shows how my impressions merged with landscape, colour and light:

My favourite. I think it would have deserved a pano shot.
Creamy pastel colours !

Can't express better ! ;) 8)
Francis, I do not have an easy answer on your panorama idea, but this may come close:

while this is an imperfect, slightly exagerated and wonderful version of the creamy pastel colours, closed in from a different angle:
Thank you, Francis.

Framing  works, nice pano, nevertheless we lost the ''creamy pastel'' character.

Land of fire : wow !

Thanks for posting, Thomas ! :)

We were close to miss it, then decided to stop and stayed for like an hour, taking a number of shots while the sun went down.
Got back to the car half frozen and smiling.
Unique and maybe non repeatable takes of variations of light and color.
Thanks for posting, Thomas ! :)
Your are welcome, Francis!
Here is a different rendering, less exagerated and more consistent with the first impression of the other take (in #211).
Still it is not perfectly the same scene but the same corner of Iceland, and as Elsa stated in another thread: we mostly need to live with what nature has to offer us.
There are only a few moments when all the elements match and add together perfectly - miss them and you'll find yourself in the land of compromise.
I learned to accept that travel photography inherently has a lot of that.

The evening.

Well, there is not much more to show say. We had a marveallous trip. Iceland is really a place to go to.
Just bring an open mind, time, and a camera.

Thank you all for sharing your time watching and specificly for active participation and comments,- it's pleasing, revarding and motivating!

So, you fully enjoyed the travel and came home safely?  Thanks for this wonderful travelogue!  Love the "unique soil colors", another nature's marvel!

I took finally the time to go over the 16 pages. Rarely seen such beautiful pictures, marvelous landscapes. Congratulations ! For your sense of color, and composition. 😊 Iceland 🇮🇸 is definitely one of my next destinations.  Do you have made an album somewhere available on internet ? I would like to forward the link to one of my children living abroad.

Thank you. Sorry, unfortunately there is no public album (yet). Seem's I'm missing something.
