The Faroe in November 2014 - click
The Faroe, they are intense. Outpost islands with a sugar icing of civilisation. Nature at force. Source of weather. I'll never forget that trip.

Day 3 (part 2):

6 - light studies
7 - the mood at Muckle Flugga Light (see Muckle Flugga Light in it's function at night - click here)
8 - some of the crowd at Muckle Flugga Light
9 - the light itself
10 - Meermann

Sorry Bjørn,- tomorrow we will stop for a few hours in Tórshavn and get dry ground under our feet before returning to sea for the final approach.

Great link to the route taken by your ship.  Updated in almost real time - neat.

I see that the Icelandic road system goes all around the coastal parts of the country, plus selected valleys.  Since you have your car with you, which roads do you intend to travel over and can an ordinary car navigate these roads at this time of the year (Autumn and I infer from your descriptions still warm enough to camp) or do you need a 4WD?

Safe journeys and TIA.

I'll make sure to follow the developments of this thread, it is great!
Favourites so far are the boat shots with the falcon (first version, the darker one) and the copper chimneys with the black smoke coming out.

PS Very clever customisation of the car!

Day 4, part 1:
Stop over in Tórshavn, Føroyar (Faroe Islands).
A cloud cooking day with sunny moments.

1 - blue lines (click - youtube)
2 - goal! (this take does the optical trick for me) (about the idiom, another take, and more)
3 - life
4 - rain drift
5 - up (origami)

Thank you, Erik and Akira. I seem to find geometric elements attractive in captures.

Day 4 - part 2:

6 - down (hehe,- found another triangle)
7 - absent pedestrians scene
8 - vertical lines
9 - trostlos
10 - leavin'

Interesting.  "Trostlos" reminds me of Moholy-Nagy.
