Lutsen Mountains
« on: October 09, 2016, 16:32:09 »
During autumn I try to visit Lutsen Mountains in northern Minnesota, part of the Superior Highlands on the north shore of Lake Superior. Great spot for family vacation. Here are the reasons why:

1. Quiet, beautiful lakeside cabins.

2. Numerous serene lakes

3. Beautiful mountains and hiking trails

4. Autumn colours

5. Unsharp moments

6. Reflection

Beautiful landscapes and colors, Anriban. A prefect choice for a family vacation.
You know which image is my favorite, however, the intelligently seen BMW split trees reflection, and the lovely reflections of Lake Superior and silhouettes are gorgeous.

Thank you Jakov for the kind comments. I can fairly guess which one is your fav  :D
Btw, the lake in#2 is not Lake Superior. It is one of the thousand lakes in that region.

I detect some Norwegian colour in §1.  Perhaps because of a major source of immigrants to Minnesota.

That's very true Anthony. In the very same neighborhood I came across this car.  ::)

Well seen and beautifully captured!  I love #2 looking like a framed picture and #6 for the reason Jakov mentioned.

The link to #5 "Unsharp moments" doesn't work...

In the very same neighborhood I came across this car.  ::)

And it's RED!   ;D

I like the first one, the flower box, the flowers, the shadows of trees in the window. Thanks!

And number 6, the autumnal reflection in the car.

Yes Frank. It's unfortunate that we will miss each other by a week.  :( Hope you have a great time over at CA.
