YAB (yet another barn)
« on: June 25, 2015, 21:02:12 »
... in France this time (close to the town of Aubazine).

The barn in total, up close and then placed in its context. B&W of course, following Lowell's starting point for barns  :D :D :D

Please let me know what you think. I know for a fact there's some technical "difficulties" in some of these.

For my taste, the third is by far the most appealing.
It has a context and a scope that the others lack.

If displayed or printed large, I would prefer #1.  Both context and the marvelous structure of the barn could be seen.   The stone and tile work tells a story of workmanship and care.  I would prefer that the barn itself be brightened in number one.  In any case, nice images for me.

Thanks for looking and commenting gentlemen.

Personally, i don't find this series as strong as the other one i'd posted. And, it goes to show that everyone has their own favourite perspective (on things).
