Quite like the nice slow pace of this scene and the reflected umbrella colours in the river.

i followed these geese along their lined-up swim for a bit

I like this somewhat surreal scene.  To me, the saturated color of the umbrellas enhance that feelings.

 Not at all. It is just not apparent in the first image the main reason, if any in particular, to take the shot and share it. The title gave the clue. A strong clue at that
