Auto renewal of subscriptions works

It seems the auto renewal of subscriptions works

I got a notification some time ago that my subscription was going to end soon, so I paid the yearly fee right away (May 23) to insure I didn't forget it. Today I got a notification from Paypal that I had made a payment to NG, which means my subscription now lasts until 2018 

Mods/owners: Don't do anything about my payment, I'm fine with having my subscription paid for the next two years, but thought people would like to know.

Jan Anne - the renewal subs I did last year was suppose to be switched from Richard Adcocks subscription to my own subscription - I am not sure if that was managed? I completely forgot about it

Joergen, I'll archive and refund the recurring payment of the 23rd of May as you have two running subscriptions now so you'll pay €40 each year

I'll do the same for Marco and RayB whom apperently did the same thing 

Please be aware that these are your PayPal subscriptions which transfer the money to NG, not the other way around.

Elsa, your first payment on the 19th of June wasn't recurring and your second payment on the 24th of June 2015 for Richard was recurring but extended your subscription to 2017 as this is how the PayPal thing works.

While fixing things I might have archived the recurring payment to clean things up, please check your PayPal subscriptions to be sure.

I don't use the automatic renewal function.  But, as a frequent visitor, I can tell my subscription period is expired by the title displayed above the avatar returning to "newbie" (or something like that) as well as the single yellow box.
