Oh well, not to be taken literally of course. But this is a coastal landscape near to the North Cape of Norway, thus about as far to the north you can come on mainland Europe.
Captured with my Panasonic GH-2 and the Coastal Optics 60 mm f/4 APO lens. A Baader UV-transmitting filter ("Venus") ensured only ultraviolet light was recorded by the camera. The palette of false colours is sombre and sinister, perfectly suited for the bleak and windy day we were exposed to.
