Wow, you can find beauty even at the Gare du Nord, quite an achievement!

A perfect timing if I ever did see this !!

Also nice to see the gentle, mellow character of the 20 UD used to such a great advantage. The overall drawing tends to get almost 3D.

Thanks all. That was a "lucky shot" - I was on my way to the next train and felt compelled to step back. I took several shots in a row, essentially waiting for the platform to be empty, but when I saw the two ladies... click.

I am at Gare du Nord twice a day, Mo-Fr, and this is the place in Paris I know best, alas. Of course photography is forbidden because of terrorism (?!?). As is smoking on the platforms. But everybody smokes, so...

You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Sorry guys. As mentioned elsewhere, the images are links from my M$ cloud and apparently, they regularly change the URLs (to protect my privacy ??) without any intervention from my side. I'll have to suspend the posting of images until I find a solution, including maybe Flicker or whatever. Not this week, just too busy tendering.
