Andrew, a really nice portrait. Tell us more about the concept.

This was at an Ohayocan event last year.  The event is a place for people that like video games, Anime and animation in general and you basic Japanophiles to come together and share their passion and cosplay.

This particular person decided that he would dress as Jack Skellington from the animated movie The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Many people were wanting this persons picture and most were looking to get the traditional portrait.  I decided to get something a little less traditional.  I lucked out and met him in a glassed in area of the convention center, so lighting was handled for me by the environment.

Full color of an bw movie on a flat screen. You can see the colors in every given pixel but, of course, the overall image appears to be monochrome. I find this fascinating.
