Akira,  agree.  I think I would need an up close and personal run through on everything mounted on the bike.  I cannot see the Kitchen Sink and are those Bike to Car missile launchers? :).

I guess these are opposing jet emergency breaks?  :o

That rusty remnant reminds me of the hundred of those found in the port of Porquerolle, where bicycles are king but often stolen at night during the tourist season, then dropped in the port. They are found when they clean up the port ! Some very old ones have the same look as yours  ;)

Jacques this could very well be a stolen one also, dredged up many years later.

Same problem in Melbourne with dumped bicycles ending up in the Yarra river that flows by the southern side of the city CBD.   >:(

The most commonly dumped machines are the rental bikes for some reason.  Maybe tourists? I am not sure.

It certainly qualifies for Akira's thread on Objet Trouvé!

Here is a Danish specialty used on bikes - an old (treasured) wooden beer crate on the rear rack.
Very well spotted ;) Indeed a classic setup with the wooden Carlsberg beer box but also yes, the matching door with steps and window above not to mention the bike lane sign with double lines!
It's actually very usable for a Bike turist-brochure I believe!
Congratulations! Thanks for posting  8)
BTW is it Copenhagen, street?

Mauricio: Looks very dark on my screen. A proper negative scan with a DSLR or DSLM shoud give you enough leverage to pull from the shadows...
