(You know the same when you make it to SoCal. My favorite bar is the patio, service sucks, the owner's a jackass, but the beverages are top notch.)

Pappy & Harriet's is my favorite bar, its out in Pioneer Town (Joshua Tree). I highly recommend a visit if you've never been, and the ribs.

Ron, it is in The Stockyards, as you know.  The Star Cafe sits on top of it.

So many bar photos I've seen. But, this one I will probably remember for a very long time.
Couple of days back I was in a local bar at a rusty small town in northern India. I was afraid to take any pictures exactly because I didn't want any free punch on my face.

(A couple of days ago, either Sunday or Saturday ... the LA Times ran a very lengthy and interesting article on Joshua Tree.)
