The Peter Iredale wrecked on the Oregon coast in 1906.
These past two winters a lot more of the sand has been washed away exposing more of the whole ship.
Before the bow was pretty much what was only visible.

This harbour area previously had a ferry dock - the old ferry dock is now modern flats.

The danish pollution control vessel "Gunnar Seidenfaden" near Fredericia in Lillebælt (between Funen and Zealand Jutland).

Mike, no not crossing the bridge. I shot it from the Erasmus bridge though. The cruise ship was docked at or near the old Hotel New York, the base for the Holland - America lines. Nowadays, they still board this "harbour" and people on the cruise get to get e day in Rotterdam.

Fons, that indeed was a big ship, like a floating appartment building.
