Supermoon night tonight and i tried to take some interesting shots. Unfortunately, the sky was too cloudy but that was ok. I used my Nikon D700 and the Nikkor 135mm f/2 ai-s with a 2x converter. I shot several frames of Poseidon's Temple at cape Sounio, Attica which stacked at PS in order to reduce noise. Since the moon rose away from the temple i had to add it in the frame digitaly.
Images were edited in LR and PS. Enjoy.

And another one, more creative.

Actually I prefer the first version. It doesn't look so "artificial" for lack of a better term.

I think I agree; it is also about composition and balance that works better in the first one.

Paco, Your second IR moon is even better than the first one.

Birna, very nice forest atmosphere, I can almost feel the nice cold air of the night.

Another vote for the first one, that I like a lot!

Moon setting over the Olympic Mts this morning.  Wonderfully clear skies for this time of year - several other photographers (and many dog-walkers with their iPhones) were rewarded for getting up early.

I also liked the first more but here is another one. I think that this is my favorite.

I also took some images of the moon set this morning as moon stock images in order to composite some more...

Striking shot.

Achilleas, I prefer the first one still and then the 3rd one but what I really like is the temple itself, location and lighting. I like you time choice to show them all

We were talking recently about the plane trail being more visible in IR. The contrast with the black sky and yet lots of light to see the fumes certanly helps.

Very nice use of IR, Paco. I side with you on the first temple image still being preferable.

Yes, the clear rendition of the contrail really helps here.  Nice composition as well!
