Incubate 2015
« on: September 11, 2015, 23:29:03 »
Incubate 2015 starts Monday 14 september in Tilburg, The Netherlands and will last a week.

In the Bartkira - Street-art Topic the start of Incubate was announced as well as the program   http://nikongear.net/revival/index.php?topic=1373

I will try to keep an update here of the  main venue's.

On the Interpolis-office Tower the announcement for Incubate is made official with a banner.  In the same period the European Social Innovation Week  (ESIW) will be held and some program-items are shared with Incubate. The whole centre of the city of Tilburg is the playground for Incubate and such a set-up is unique for a large music-festival.

The street-art painting of Bartkira looks different when the sun goes down.

And a speech of one of the Incubate curarors, Joost Heijthuijsen in which he remembers Matthijs Rümke who passed away yesterday. He was the director of the largest theater in the South of Netherlands and cultural inspirer of Tilburg.

The first musical act was performed by Melanie Bonajo in a 'natural' outfit.

Thanks Andreas.

Actually the Festival started off als ZXZW, as a tribute to Austin  ;)   A year ago I had an interview with one the organisators, Joost Heijthuijsen, explaining the history   https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=nl&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Ftilburgers.nl%2Fjoost-heijthuijsen-incubate-is-meer-dan-een-festival%2F&edit-text=

Thank you Andreas and Gary.

Actually she was body-painted, and, apart from the 'grass', naked.  ;)

The out-door venue's will start today if the weather will help, there is a lot of rain.     Perhaps the Billboards have been adapted for the festival?
