3 months is also the age of our new rabbit at home. His name is Suntory. Nikongear would have sounded strange, right ?

BTW Suntory is a reference to "Lost in translation". His predecessor, the late Wasabi, had a pretty long (8 1/2 years) life in rabbit's paradise (our closed garden, 30m²).

Long live Nikongear, long live Suntory. BTW rabbits are challenging subjects, better suited to video than stills.

Dallas is a nice chap but unlike me he does not seem to know that he has flaws* and that is not good in a position with control. He does work against his own interests. Most of the time. It is tragic.

Succinctly and fairly said.
I have not officially left  but I find it hard enough to follow one community that I don't go often to the "other side" even though there are still people there whom I like and whom I have not seen here.
The community here gives me all I need in terms of photography and I like the forum smallish, simple and non-commercial.

Leave the past in the past and don't kick a dog that is down. The branch you have chopped off, can never grow a green leaf again.

Life is short - simply enjoy NG and especially treasure the friendships you have formed. Which I know is plentiful and special.

There is always tomorrow.  Unfortunately, that's the problem: It's always there, in the future!

Have you shared any images or footage of these two with us yet?
Maybe better started in a separate thread, but I'm keen to see them.

Any animal with the name of Wasabi conjures up a mental image that's probably quite different from reality!

And thats how we intend to keep it, a small but knowledgable forum run by the community for the community.

Great, I fully support all you and the team have achieved in the first 3 months JA

Congrats and thanks! Has it really only been 3 months?! Feels like it's been much longer.

Ps. I seem to remember talk earlier about changing it so only members are able to see the images posted but that doesn't seem to have been implemented? Or is it simply my memory that fails, as usual?

Your memory might be better than you credit it for, Jørgen...

What you refer to was the initial plan, but we now let this stew for a while to see the progress ahead. We were concerned and worried about site load, but apparently SMF is quite efficient plus we have already upgraded our hosting scheme to supply more resources. Thus at present the site runs smoothly enough and no extra measures need to be taken.

Non-registered visitors "see" the site as read-only and cannot partake in any activity here.
