It may need more work. I´m a big fan of Rodin´s sculpture and this is the closest I have got so far.
C&C always welcome

Have you checked out Rodin's drawings, even better!
The level of blurriness is fine. I would overexpose it, if i may suggest ;)

I like this, but the the model doesn't seem relaxed ... which for me adds some stress to my viewing where stress may not be wanted or warranted.

the pose reminds me of Pompei vulcano eruption victims, somehow.

Not only may, I greatly appreciate it. I´ll give it a try.

Thanks Gary. It is not suppose to be relaxed, quite the contrary. Despair and tension, surrender to an eternal pointless task. Originally intended for the "gates of Hell". Rodin´s piece I meant ::)

Interesting point. Thanks Airy

You made a good point Frank. It is "the" point for me with the original sculpture. Her agony, lack of clothes and protection, the connections with the rock -here trying to make the hair one with the black floor- and of course the posture and position of her hand, is intended to have those two meanings or readings at once. Not the first time a religious ecstasy or hellish agony have been seen as a sexual climax.

Thank you for the explanations on the back ground for the image.
Very well executed!, There are so many ways this could be depicted, you certainly did a very emotional one here!
I don't like her foot is missing, it of course adds in some ways a a provocation - I just don't feel the image needs that, strong enough as is.
