One of the recovered images and one of the iconic creations: Mae West. A hole room that becomes this when standing on a platform and looking through a lens.

Oh, yes, Dali! I became seriously interested in the art when I saw his "The Enigma of Desire, or My Mother, My Mother, My Mother" in Munich.
This museum is, in addition to Gaudi's works, the places I want to visit in Spain.
Thank you for sharing!

My pleasure. This Theater-Museum is spectacular and very enjoyable. I´ll try to post a couple more images tomorrow.

Who in his right mind wouldn't want to visit Dali's museum?
Who in his right mind wouldn't want to visit Paco's Spain?
Who in his right mind wouldn't want to visit Dali's birthplace?
Who in his right mind wouldn't want to visit....? :)

Dali Museum. Haha. Was there with the kids in 2012. Smaller than I thought and less interesting for the kids than I had hoped, but I remember this room very well. So crowded. Difficult to get a clean shot like yours. And: I feel it looks a bit like an older music video that was stunnig when it was first released but did not age well. Dali's paintings on the other hand like the burning giraffe or the melting clocks are timeless, iconic...

Who, indeed ;D
Frank, I found it to be very big :-\ specially considering it is a onemanonly museum and not all his pieces are there, by the way. Iconic is a understatement. So many of them are universally known that it is impressive to think they have the same origin.

Two of the first thing welcoming you to the museum. The car and statues in the patio and a huge painting in the entrance. Then, a fleeting angel to finish with the well organized lighting to present some of the work.

Oh yes, the inner circle, the courtyard. I really loved this. Have to go through my images I took there again.
The nice ass lady sculpture shot is my favourite of your series so far!

I have been there also 25 years ago, a great place to visit, thanks for sharing Paco.

Thank you Frank and Fons. I think there are still a couple of images that can be interesting from that day. There is also those of the jewels exhibition.

11 years ago for me Fons, but yes definitely a great place to visit.
