Title: The time has come to depart from NikonGear!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for me to leave NikonGear, to everyone concerned with the running this lovely friendly forum, I’ve enjoyed immensely yours and the members company, lovely people one and all!
As a certain Vulcan would say live long and prosper everyone, so sayonara from Mike G!

Does this mean that you won't jump ship from Fuji to the new Nikon mirrorless platform?

Jan Anne it means just that, Nikon were just too late to make a mirrorless camera!

Still, I fail to understand why this event precipitates an urge to leave NG?

Bjorn, it’s because I’m taking up your resources unnecessarily and I have joined another forum concerned with mu4/3 gear and I don’t have the time to devote to NG. My visits to NG have been sporadic to say the least of late!
I feel no animosity to all here and wish you all well.
And by the by Bjorn you do not live up to your alter ego as the “Fierce Bear of the North”

Mike, personally I don't think you would need to leave NG just because you joined any other forum dedicated to the camera you have, as NG is not Nikon specific.

But if it is your decision, I would have to appreciate it.

I'm less enthusiastic about m43 since I bought the Df, but we may meet on another site when I get the urge to use that divine Oly 75/1.8 again...
