Title: [SOLVED] Cannot change my password
Post by: Akira on August 10, 2018, 23:48:44
When I change my password and click "Change profile" button at the right-below corner of the "Account Settings" page, the alert that require to change the password for the security reason appears, and I cannot complete the process.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also, is it too costly to make the whole forum secured (https)?

Thank you in advance.

Fons, thank you for the advice and the link.

But, unfortunately, my situation seems to be a little different: I haven't forgot my password, can log out and log in again.  Then the same happens...

Akira sofar i have not been able to change my password either, still waiting for the email to reset my password.
I cant seem to be able to log out, may mean removing cookies after a forced log-off, or to wait for JA to return.

Fons, the forced log-out by clearing the cache of your browser should work, but you wouldn't be able to log in again if you forgot the current password.

I could change my password successfully.

The problem was addressed.  I just misread the alert and failed to input the current password.  STUPID ME!  :-[ :-[ :-[

Sorry for the fuss.

And thank you, Fons, for your advices.
