I am the original owner of this lens, and describe it as follows:
Grade: Excellent -
Appearance:
This lens is only 2 years old (bought from B&H) and it produces excellent images. When off-duty, it is kept in a 720-lb, climate-controlled gun safe.
Functionality = 100%
It works perfectly.
Focus ring is smooth.
Aperture blades perfect.
Optics:
The glass is nice, but has 3 tiny scratches (they do not affect image quality).
No fungus.
No haze.
No balsam separation.
Includes: Everything
Original box + instructions.
Front cap.
Rear cap.
Extras:
Nikon HN-2 Lens Hood
Note 1: This lens cost $540.00 brand new, plus ~$23.00 to purchase the HN-2 lens hood, so you'd be out about $560 to get all this together, new. I will sell the whole set for $300 + free shipping.
Note 2: This lens doubles as a reverse-macro, achieving 2.1x lifesize magnification with the Nikon BR-2A adapter (not included). Check out my blog post on the subject.
