Dear NG experts,
I will be in the USA in Washington for a workshop starting 16 Oct to 20 Oct. Thereafter I have a week additional in the USA with my wife Marie before I have to fly back to South Africa. I would love to visit Yellowstone and/or Yosemite during that week. Advice would be welcome, especially an organization or individual that can arrange a tour with a focus on photography. I am not keen to drive on my own for a variety of reasons.
Kind regards and thanks, Martin

I don't know how you could photograph in either N.P. without a car — both Parks are spread over an enormous area.
Google turned up these Links (but I have no direct knowledge about any of them):

It doesn't seem as if they offer anything for your dates but you could try asking for a private trip although I reckon it will prove a very expensive way to visit the Parks.
Yellowstone can get its first snow around the end of October.

Andrew (gryphon1911) started a thread sometime ago which shoud also be worth checking out.

Yosemite has trams for getting about. I haven't been there in a few decades but back then there were restrictions on diving due to pollution and congestion. The Park's website should have full information.
I was a kid or maybe again as a teen when I was last at Yellowstone. I would check Yellowstone's website for current information.

Both park are great. I think Yellowstone is more unique.

Trams may run around only in the valley-bottom of Yosemite?
I have never used them and always used our own car and there is far more to explore in Yosemite than just the floor of the valley!
I believe that the N.P. may limit the number of cars allowed into the Parks simultaneously during the high season so, if you are staying outside the Park, you need to be at the entrance gates at first light.

Make sure when doing a tour in Yellowstone that the company is properly registered.

Thanks for all the feedback. Will see what transpires in the end, maybe I will get some good images to share.
