Title: Swapping the red and biue channels in Lightroom

 I have been looking at the stunning infrared images Bob Friedman has been posting.  One element  which adds to the visual impact are the beautiful blue skies in his images. He states that he obtains the blue skies by switching the red and  blue channels in Photoshop. I don't have Photoshop, but I do have Lightroom. Can the same effect be obtained in Lightroom?  If so, how does one go about it?

No. As far as I know you need Ps.

A direct alternative with a "full spectrum" modified camera is shooting through a B+W 403 filter. Then you get the blue skies in camera. Assuming the sky *is* blue, of course :D

There is a reference in that old 2014 link to making profiles for Lightroom which accomplish a channel swap. Perhaps you can find similar Lightroom profile plug-ins for the newest version of Lightroom.

Andrea, it works in LR6... they are just DCP camera profiles that are copied across.
