Title: SOLD: Nikon H-C 50mm f/2 OR Nikon 50mm f/2 K

Hi folks,
I only need 1 50 f/2 and have 2.  please let me know which one you want. 

The H-C is in immaculate condition and is from 1972-74.  It is NON-AI at the moment, but if you desire, will be Ai'd on my mill for the same sale price.  I didn't want to AI it before I sold it as you may want to use it on you DF or have other uses.  $60

The K version is factory Ai'd and from 1974-77; likely earlier due to the serial number.  It is also in excellent shape, however, it has a small ding in the filter thread.  A filter does mount on the lens.

Brent - I hope you get the advice you are looking for.  HOWEVER - I don't think I'm alone when I say "keep both!"  :)

They both have the same optics and coatings, so should perform the same optically. The K focuses closer and is AI'd, so it is more versatile and compatible with more cameras ...
the H.C is a pretty lens though :)

that all depends!  I'll end up keeping both if one of you fine folks doesn't liberate me of one!  They're gorgeous little lenses, I just don't need them all (reference to more 50mm's at home)!

Unfortunately not in a position to help you this time ... I own an AI 50/2, in fact one of the first lenses I did CPU-modify. Plus a raft of other 50 mm optics. And yesterday added the enigmatic 50 advertised by Akira to the list.

As your asking price was pretty modest you ought to have no problem getting 'rid' of one of these, either here or on eBay.
