Very interesting image.  I do like the dark mood and the touches of light/colour in the immediate foreground.    Monsoon just arriving and I have found a very basic, one roomed cottage, at my favourite fishing village that I can use for overnites.   I really want to work on Seascapes and I too will break out my NDs and Lee GNDs.

As bob wrote, a good reminder to take out the ND.
Guess I'll have to buy one before Ireland.

I like the dark mood. Fits my mind.

I also like the dark almost sombre mood, it definitely add to the atmosphere!

1/2-1/4 sec or around there??
I would like to know more about EXIF, and wether you used an ND or if it was dark enough to get this shutter speed without, (I reckon it was just dark enough and that you didn't need to use any ND's)?

A lot of drama in the color scape, which makes this long exposure stand out  from the Gazillions of calm and friendly "Hey I found a way to make my camera expose longer than a thirtieth of a second, went to the beach found some stones and took another pic of a dead concept" pictures.

What I see here is more of a dance of water, not so nice nature, but quite threatening nature too.

I like the lighting and the texture of the frozen (or blurred) water.  ND looks interesting!

while I had the ND with me , it wouldn't fit the 15 mm fisheye used for this shot

F/22 ISO 50 got me an exposure of 1.6 sec

now that I see it again , I think it is to dark near loosing detail in dark areas , probably a result of doing the PP at night

If your 15mm fisheye is of Sigma, it should have a gel filter holder at the rear of the lens in which you should be able to insert an ND gel?

Akira, yes it is the sigma

I'm aware of the ability to add gel filters to the back of the Sigma ... I've never tried it
and i think I have some ND gel filter somewhere ... just need to cut a piece of the appropriate size
