Nice glass! So rare...

I have promised to try to bring a Nikkor 6mm f/2.8 for our Scotland Workshop in May...  ;)

Interesting. I gather SAP = solid angle projection.

Accordingo to the Westlicht list, the ser. no. of this lens is 1014.

The one emerged at a second-hand camera show in Japan a few years ago had the ser. no. of 1015.

It's mentioned in the bottom of this Nikkor Tale

Roland also has it listed naturally  ;)

A friend of a friend has the 6 mm f/5.6 Fisheye-Nikkor. Tried to convince him selling it to me was a good idea, but he didn't take the bait .... Oh well, as it was made in approx. 109 samples, I do have rarer Nikkors than this.

Still, would be interesting to CPU-modify any of them for use on a modern camera.

The 6 (6, 6.2, 6.3)mm class fisheyes are listed as having 220 to 230 degrees field of view.

Thanks!! A great reference to have since a number of people have found it humorous that I use a fisheye lens take photos of fishes.
