A variation on my previous post. No foul tricks, only played with BW, contrast, etc.

About the last time I used my Nikonos V with the superb UW-Nikkor 15 mm f/2.8. We found the actual genuine bottled letter near our coastal summer cottage and the letter originated from a DDR (East Germany) soldier. After more than 10 years floating around on the High Seas, the handwritten letter was faded and tricky to decipher, but we got his address and returned his greetings. Never heard more from him though.

This is my son retrieving the bottle. Not staged.

That's a very magic moment and greatly shot!  'Standort' and 'DDR' are readable through the bottle.
